Got to love the Easter holidays! Its certainly a nice break from school.
Yesterday I went to the easter show. Waste of money, yes, but I gotta admit, the rides were (despite being a rip off), quite fun! Of course, not as diverse, many nor enjoyable as other rides in say, Disney land or WB Movie World, I would assume :E
This is what I have to work with. Its a good start. If I keep bento-making as my hobby, perhaps I can increase my stash (:

Ah, it would be nice to get a better camera! Though, I should be more concerned about actually getting my blog up and going and actually posting a completed bento!

After a whole day of slaving away, creating this blog and modding the layout, I've finally, finally complete it!
This blog will be dedicated to my bento tales and journey through making lunch boxes! I sincerely hope that this blog won't end up like my many other blogs - created, used for a few days, and then abandoned! Gah!
Initially, I was fueled by the wonderful bento making blogs Just Bento and Adventures in Bentomaking to make one of my own PLUS the fact that I have a stack of bento supplies that I've yet touched which I got from Japan (a few from my trip there, much more from what my brother had sent back after I insisted he get some supplies!)
Despite being in my final year of high school, I'll try - I'll try to make bento for myself to take to school and perhaps my family members as well. My mums gonna be an obstacle though - she's stingy and probably won't like the fact of me making elaborate things in the morning to pack for lunch. I want to though, I want to make cute bento, charaben and the like. Plus I think its about time I learn how to cook for myself!
No, I'm not exactly very good at cooking, but of course, I'll improve along the way. I'm sure my bento will begin very simply and such, but my skills will develope (I hope).
I'll make my first *official* bento next week.
I'll post my supplies too, so I can keep tabs on what I have to use. And I also need to think of staples and figure out which foods I'll need to buy next time I hit the supermarkets!
